Description

The Operations Senior Specialist for Decedent Processing will be responsible activities such as responding customer requests and inquiries via various methods with account information for deceased customers including but not limited to, updating accounts, and submitting internal and external reporting. Primary responsibilities include:

Primary responsibilities include
  • Provide accurate Date of Death account information to Branches, Executors, and Attorneys and make modifications to the system of record as needed.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Decedent activity reports from internal systems and applications (CMOD/Blue Prism) and validate customer information is accurate and correct if required.
  • Perform various quality control functions to validate data is captured and reported accurately. Multi-task, prioritize, and cross train in a high volume, fast paced deadline-oriented environment.
  • May need to work independently on special projects, interacting with all levels of management, and serving as a resource for the business unit. Recommending enhancements to procedures and business processes.
  • Prepare reports as necessary for management and internal stakeholders. Other tasks may be assigned to the Sr. Specialist related to servicing accounts.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 2-3 years' experience working in an operation environment.
  • Team player; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Solid time management skills
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and function efficiently in high volume, fast paced deadline-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in PC and MS Office applications
  • Customer service phone skills required.
  • Experience with financial services industry and banking operations preferred.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
  • Associate degree preferred or but not required.
Hours & Work Schedule
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: 8:00 - 4:30, Monday - Friday

Position is Hybrid located in Riverside, RI 3 days per week on site after training period
