The compensation for this role ranges from $17.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates payments and manages expenditures by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Ensures accuracy of processed work by validating entries and comparing system reports to financial balances.
  • Allocates expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice and expense reports; records necessary entries.
  • Handles vendor payments by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying identification numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments.
  • Confirms receipt of credit for outstanding memos.
  • Issues stop-payments or modifies purchase orders as needed.
  • Processes employee payments by verifying expense reports and requests for advances; prepares checks accordingly.
  • Maintains accounting records by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verifies vendor accounts through monthly statement reconciliation and related transactions.
  • Preserves historical records by microfilming and filing essential documents.
  • Manages petty cash disbursements by recording entries and verifying supporting documentation.
  • Calculates sales tax requirements on paid invoices for reporting purposes.
