JOB DESCRIPTION
Cloud Deployment Engineer
Our client located in Denver, CO is seeking to hire a talented Cloud Deployment Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position's primary responsibilities will be surrounding the deployment of cloud-based solutions, pulling data from SQL Server via way of APIs.
The ideal candidate will have a great foundational knowledge base in relational databases and database management (SQL Server, RDBMS), as well as a strong proficiency in cloud computing (AWS + Azure) and APIs (calling files via APIs, etc.). Additionally, any experience with automation tools and Python programming would be a strong plus to have.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- 70% of daily duties will be spent on deployment of cloud solutions
- 30% of daily duties will be spent on as needed projects, data analysis, audit support.
- Associate degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Combination of Formal Education and Experience can be considered in lieu of formal degree requirement.
- Minimum 2 years of professional work experience is required.
- 2-3 years of experience in cloud systems deployment
- MS Azure, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lakes
- APIs
- Python programming
- Strong business acumen is highly desired.
- MS Excel is a plus to have, but not required.
The compensation for this position is in the range of $110K to $135K annually + benefits for this direct-hire opportunity. Please note your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience - talk with your recruiter to learn more
