Description:

Manages the development and implementation of projects/programs to meet business process initiatives, process improvement, product launches, other strategies and objectives. Analyzes existing project management methods to promote effective operations through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuance, or other methods.

Conducts risk assessments, facilitates communication across operational groups, and ensures compliance with the defined process and/or implementation.

To be successful as a Project Support Specialist, individual should be proficient in personal time management and task prioritization, demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office applications, and be adept in cross functional team communication.

This position reports to Senior Manager and is in Atlanta, GA. This Hybrid role requires persons to work in office in office at least 2 days per week and as required by manager.

MAJOR TASKS

Provide reporting for completed project milestones and billing deliverables.

Provide ongoing process improvement, maintain process documentation, and communicate process changes to internal and external customers.

Process invoices upon completion of contractual milestones.

Develop and maintain positive relationship with AR personnel of service providers and internal stakeholders.

Create Work Order requests and issue to internal and external parties for full execution.

Track and update financial codes of projects and programs for appropriate setup, allocation, and extensions.

Develop and maintain financial reports for service providers and internal teams.

Respond to requests from internal team and vendors applying innovate thought, industry standards, and ingenuity to determine best course of action.

Continual communication to internal team and stakeholders on project status. Communicates project requirements to other departments.

Obtains feedback at critical milestones and at project completion to ensure that billing is completed in timely manner, financial codes are closed in Oracle, and projects are closed in Site tracker and WATTs.

Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.

Work with Customer to understand their billing process and access their billing databases accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

2+ years of experience in related field (i.e. Accounts Payable/Receivable, Change management, Process Improvement, Project Management, Engineering, Technical Operations) or academic equivalent training or projects.

Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, budgeting, and process improvement methodology.

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

PREFERRED

Intermediate to Advanced skills in Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required, with the ability to become proficient in other software tools as needed.

Exceptional interpersonal/people skills including verbal and written communication skills, integrity, sound judgment and decision-making ability to all organizational levels. The ability to modify the messaging appropriately to various technical, managerial, and leadership audiences is critical for this position.

Demonstrates continuous effort to improve self and team operating protocol, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

Knowledge of telecommunications industry and wireless services

Demonstrated carrier relationships (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, Other)

Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.

Flexible and creative problem solver with the ability to think analytically and follow through with complex problems.

Strong follow-through and ability to implement tasks.
