Hospice Clinical Liaison

Our sales team is growing Apply today to be a key player in connecting patients with resources. As a Hospice Liaison, you'll work closely with Sales and Clinical teams to maintain great relationships with patients and referral sources. This is an awesome role for those with healthcare experience wanting to explore sales.
Competitive starting salary based on experience: $100,000 annually.
Duties:
- Initiate referral by accepting information form referrals sources and completing referral form.
- Verify hospice care order with physician and obtain specific orders for care.
- Evaluates patients referred for hospice care.
- Identifies and verifies insurance coverage of hospice care services.
- Obtains documents for prior authorization for hospice care services from insurance providers.
- Minimum of two years' experience, at least one of which is in the area of public health or hospice care nursing. Verification of experience and skills required.
- Clinically trained and licensed preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of the purpose and function of hospice care and diagnosis acceptable to Home Care setting.
- Demonstrates an ability to work with other healthcare clinicians, development of hospice plan of care, knowledge of third-party reimbursement, and ability to negotiate payment rates.
- Demonstrates excellent observation verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills.
