Marketing Cloud Developer - About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team and play a key role in developing and implementing innovative marketing automation solutions. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining functionalities within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform to enhance our marketing efforts and member engagement. This role offers the potential to convert to a full-time position (FTE) for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement marketing automation solutions using SFMC tools like AMPscript, Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
Integrate SFMC with our existing member portal/member app (non-Salesforce) to enable message delivery through a messaging center. Develop functionalities for member segmentation and targeting based on various criteria including LOB, product type, company/plan, group membership, and individual selection.
Ensure seamless integration of messaging center interactions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys.
Build features for members to manage custom notification preferences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, IT & business) to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews, maintain high coding standards, and ensure code quality.
Assist with documenting developed solutions and processes.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in SFMC and marketing automation best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience developing marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Expertise in AMPscript, Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
Proven experience with Messaging and Push notification development
Experience working on SFMC SDK integration with Mobile app.
Experience with API integrations (RESTful preferred).
Strong understanding of marketing automation concepts and campaign management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-solving skills and a passion for developing creative solutions.
Bonus Points:
Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud is a plus.
Familiarity with building email templates and content using Content Builder.
Experience working with Health Insurance data.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Understanding of IP warming best practices.
Experience with Omni studio and call center processes.
Education: Bachelors Degree
