Job Description:

We are currently seeking Managed Care Coordinators to facilitate communications for Nursing and Rehabilitation, insurance companies, and patients/residents. The primary responsibilities of this role include obtaining authorizations for medical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, managing health records, and accurately documenting all services and requests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in health management or health field.
  • Positive relationship building
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with an ability to work independently to complete projects.
  • Detail oriented with consistent follow-through.
  • Excellent writing, listening and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • New York State Registered Nursing license.

Additional Information:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday- 9am-5pm.
  • Hourly Pay Range: $65 - $70

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
