Job Details:
- Position Title: Home Care Staffing Coordinator (Bilingual: Spanish)
- Reports To: Coordination Manager
Responsibilities include:
- Confirm attendance on the call dashboard upon start and end of scheduled visits when no clock in is completed
- Receive handoff from daytime coordinators to stay up to date on day’s attendance needs from morning shift
- Communicate with family members or patients to ensure caregiver is present for scheduled cases
- Responsible for Call Dashboard on HHA eXchange, clearing out all missed ins, missed outs and missed calls every day
- Use available resources including Medflyt HHA broadcast messaging to find available aides to attend last-minute or called-out visits
- Close the office and lock up making sure all documentation and information is securely put away
- Verify services provided per scheduled visits
- Update visit notes in HHA Exchange for all communications with caregivers
- Advise caregivers on IVR electronic clock in procedures to ensure compliance
- Advise caregivers when timesheet is needed to verify services provided
- Communicate with on call scheduling coordinator regarding caregivers that are not at their cases as assigned
- Participate in on call coverage as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy with dignity and respect
- Participate in patient case conferences, in-service programs and orientation if needed
- Communicate with the coordination department daily regarding scheduling, availability, attendance, and assignment
- Answer telephone, records and relays messages to appropriate personnel
- Manage telephone calls in a supportive, reassuring manner for patients, families, physicians and others
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
- High School Graduate/ GED equivalent
- Experience in HHA eXchange is a plus
- Knowledgeable of basic office software technology
- Professional, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and upbeat attitude/ motivated team player
- Comfortable locking up and leaving the office in the nights
