THE POSITION:

You will work under the direction of the Human Resources team to gain hands-on experience to develop and grow your skillset and capabilities within human resources. This position will provide administrative support for HR activities including recruitment, benefits, and HR operations.

This is a paid 6 month internship.

Some of the duties include:

Administrative

  • Enter employee data, including new hires into the HRIS (UKG).
  • Create offer letters and assist with onboarding of new employees.
  • Monitor HR and Employee Benefits inbox.
  • Complete employment verifications as needed.
  • Pull quarterly PTO reports to share with managers.


Operations
  • Assists with administration of the Tuition Reimbursement Program.
  • Ongoing assistance with orientations by creating orientation packets for new hires and assisting with badge creation.
Benefits
  • Assist with open enrollment.
  • Work with benefits to update manuals and forms.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Human Resource Management or Business Administration majors preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good collaboration and team building skills, with ability to work with all levels and roles of an organization effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in HR matters is essential.
  • Knowledge or experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
