Accounts Payable Accountant

Job Description

KORE Solutions is seeking a diligent and experienced AP Accountant to join our accounting department. The accountant’s main responsibilities include accounts payable, monthly close support, GL reconciliation and company credit card management.

Accounts payable related duties include accounts payable invoice processing, performing vendor account reconciliations, vendor accounts management, and 1099 filings.

Other duties:

assist with monthly reporting and close processes; help others in Accounting and Finance departments, as needed; respond to information requests by management; assist with information gathering during audits.

The position reports to the Accounting Manager.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to timely and accurately perform your duties, pivot to the requests of management, and identify and communicate any issues or concerns in a timely manner. Further, you should possess and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and warehouse as it relates to the AP process. Preparing journal entries, analysis, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes. Assist in performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Meeting processing and reporting deadlines. Responding to information requests and assisting with audits Assisting the Finance department as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or relevant work experience 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Working experience with an ERP system preferred (Oracle Fusion) Strong numeracy and analytical skills Working knowledge of US GAAP a plus Good problem-solving and time management skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
