The Role We Want You For

Clayco is currently seeking a licensed Senior Structural Engineer to join our design team. In this role you will be working with in-house Development, Architecture, and Construction teams to provide Structural Design and Quality Assurance on industrial (distribution, manufacturing, food and beverage, and cold storage) projects for our nationwide clients.

  • Relationship building with Field Staff (Superintendents and other on-site personnel.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis.
  • Masters with Structural emphasis preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing commercial projects, ideally industrial (warehouse, distribution, e-commerce, manufacturing, cold storage, food and beverage).
  • PE and/or SE license required.
  • Team oriented attitude.
  • Resilient and adaptable to changes.

  • This position is based in Overland, MO.
  • Our clients and projects are nationwide so some travel will be required.
  • No other builder can offer the collaborative design-build approach that Clayco is known for and expects.
  • 3-D CAD experience is a plus.
