About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our Building Structures team at EXP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural solutions for various building projects, including aviation, transit, and mission-critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural systems for buildings, including calculations, sketches, and drawings
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Conduct site observations and evaluate existing conditions to inform design decisions
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently, coordinating with multiple EXP offices and outside consultants
  • Occasional short-term travel to project sites
Requirements
  • 0-1 years of experience in building design, with a focus on structural engineering
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis software, including RAM, RISA, and ETABS
  • Proficiency in Revit, with skills in modeling and sheet creation
  • Working towards EIT certification
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
