Patient Care Coordinator position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our dedicated team at California Fertility Partners, located in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-Time position, working Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm with some required weekend and holiday rotation, working 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcoming patients and visitors as they arrive at the clinic, checking them in for appointments, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Managing patient appointment schedules, coordinating with medical staff, and efficiently organizing the patient flow to minimize wait times.
  • Handling sensitive patient information with the utmost discretion and maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  • Assisting patients with billing inquiries, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting payments as needed.
  • Providing basic information about clinic procedures, treatments, and services, or directing patients to appropriate resources for more detailed explanations.
  • Handling incoming phone calls and emails, addressing patient inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and effective communication.
  • Ensuring the front desk area is well-stocked with necessary supplies and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Creating a compassionate and caring atmosphere for patients who may be experiencing emotional stress during their fertility journey.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience as a medical receptionist or front office coordinator is referred
  • Medical or Healthcare experience is referred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
  • Medical Terminology preferred.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage appointment schedules, patient records, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting, is advantageous.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain composed under pressure.
  • Comfort with basic computer applications and the ability to learn and use clinic-specific software and (EMR) systems.
  • Being meticulous in recording patient information and ensuring accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Willingness to collaborate with medical staff and colleagues to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with varying patient volumes and schedules.
  • A commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality according to healthcare regulations.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$20.00 and $25.00 hourly

The compensation rate for this position is $20.00 and $25.00 per hour.Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
