Sales Account Executive - DALLAS region Our client, a leading provider of audiovisual, video conferencing, and network solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to handle direct sales to enterprise- and commercial-sized accounts in the Texas regional territory. This is a virtual office position with a strong preference for residence in the Dallas region. The hiring firm will also consider candidates elsewhere in the region. Summary The primary responsibility of the Sales Account Executive will be to develop new business opportunities within the regional market, to drive revenue growth and recurring revenue opportunities via the sales of the firm’s AV/IT integration, installation, consulting and managed services Responsibilities: Develop a detailed understanding of the company's audiovisual, videoconferencing and network solutions and managed services. Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's collaboration needs Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate and that are profitable. Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnel, channel and distribution partners. Active and ongoing prospecting in the territory Accountability: Strong, detailed sales pipeline/funnel reporting Experience and Skills Requirements: The successful sales professional will be highly motivated and have a proven track record of established sales success with enterprise, commercial or government customers. The sales person will possess excellent communications skills, (both verbal and written) be organized and comfortable with on-line forecasting tools and have the ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end user customers. Excellent accountability, reporting, pipeline management and CRM skills required. 5-7+ years of outside sales experience with at least 3+ years in SOME NOT ALL of the following service and product offerings, integration, professional and managed services of: Audiovisual Videoconferencing Unified Communications IP Networking Telecommunications SaaS Cloud Infrastructure Structured Sales Strong preference for candidates with formal training and several years’ experience consultative /complex selling with a structured sales methodology such as, but not limited to: Challenger Sales Model Consultative (Solution) Selling Solutions Selling SPIN Selling SNAP Selling Straight Line Persuasion Sandler System Education & Training A four year college degree is preferred, not required. AVIXA CTS is preferred, not required. Vendor or Technical training or certifications helpful
