Our fast-paced work enables quick learning in an environment where you can stretch yourself and grow a fulfilling career with us. We're seeking a motivated and talented Field Engineer to join our team and help us build, install, troubleshoot, and commission advanced perimeter security equipment.

General Summary:

The Field Engineer assists the team by working both at the office and at the jobsite as necessary. In-house duties include building and testing control panels that are deployed to the jobsite, providing technical expertise to field technicians, and coordinating with the rest of the Systems Engineering department. On the jobsite, the Field Engineer assists in low-voltage wiring terminations, initial startup of equipment (sensor platforms, gate operators, active vehicle barriers, etc.), testing, commissioning, and training the end user on the systems installed.

The qualified candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Experience in electrical wiring and basic understanding of low-voltage electrical circuits (relays, sensors, industrial I/O, etc.)
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics
  • Understanding how to work safely with around electricity and other common hazards
  • Detail-oriented: takes pride in work to deliver quality results
  • Excellent communication and follow-through skills, ability to exercise sound judgment with confidence
  • Independent self-starter with problem solving ability
  • Able to work with a team
  • Can use MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
  • Able to use a phone and standard office equipment
  • Able to operate a vehicle and hold a valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain security clearances
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
