Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on Canon's photolithography systems.
  • Diagnose hardware and software malfunctions promptly to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Escalate complex repair issues to senior technicians as needed.
  • Respond to customer service inquiries within a 30-minute timeframe.
  • Provide on-site technical support as required.
  • Participate in ongoing machine installations to gain hands-on experience.
  • Travel regionally as part of installation teams when necessary.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret equipment data to identify performance issues.
  • Work in a semiconductor cleanroom environment for extended durations.
  • Manage tasks effectively under pressure and provide regular updates to clients during repair processes.
  • Maintain precise documentation of maintenance activities and submit periodic reports to management.
  • Engage in training opportunities to enhance your technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in electromechanical roles, preferably in semiconductor equipment or engineering.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for business purposes (valid driver's license required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently; assistance available for heavier loads.
  • Strong visual acuity for detailed inspections and measurements.
  • Comfortable working in diverse physical conditions, including proximity to moving parts and exposure to chemicals.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations requiring quick problem resolution.
