Property Management Coordinator

Summit Properties seeks an Property Management Coordinator that will work at either our main office in South Burlington, VT or at one of our properties in Southern New Hampshire. Property Management Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Property Management & Compliance to support our remote Property Management Teams and assist in compliance and administrative work. Candidate will be organized, friendly, highly proficient on a computer, and ready to problem solve and take on new projects.

This position will be full-time, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility on scheduled hours is available if needed.

Specific duties and job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing of incoming and outgoing compliance correspondence;
  • Acting as a point person for site staff in need of assistance;
  • Scanning and saving documents to electronic files, including tenant e-files, new property tenant files and others as assigned;
  • Performing audits of all new tenant files to ensure compliance;
  • Assisting Compliance & Property Management team with general office tasks and administration;
  • Responsible for taking meeting minutes at weekly meetings;
  • Assisting Compliance & Property Management team with various projects;
  • Acting as a back-up for the Office Coordinator as necessary;
  • Processing Security Deposit Transmittal mailings;
  • Any other tasks related to the operations and objectives of the Company that the Company reasonably asks you to perform.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Ability to work in dependently and manage time
  • 2-3 years in administrative experience
  • Strong organization skills
  • Computer skills are required including proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience in property management and affordable housing is preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout our properties in Upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire when needed.

Summit Properties is a developer, builder, and manager of affordable and market-rate housing in Vermont, New Hampshire, and up-state New York. Over the last 5 years, we have added nearly 10 employees and over 500 apartments to our portfolio. We currently manage 1400+ apartments and are embarking on several new development projects in 2024.
