We are looking for an experienced Community Manager for our residential community located in Glen Ellyn, IL. Our Community Manager has the overall responsibility of the financial and operational management of the property to ensure efficient daily operations, meet financial objectives and reach occupancy goals. Pay: Commensurate with experience $30/hr. to $35/hr. + eligibility for quarterly bonus

Position Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the multi-family housing industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist all residents with a positive and friendly tone
  • Demonstrate a professional, courteous attitude and appearance at all times
  • Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Be well organized and have excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with property management software (Yardi and CRM)
  • Ability to effectively lead a team to succeed and meet performance goals
  • Ability to demonstrate conflict management and problem-solving skills
Position Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and leasing functions of the property to ensure resident and owner satisfaction
  • Implement creative & effective marketing campaigns and sales and closing techniques
  • Oversee the leasing team to ensure that goals for occupancy are achieved
  • Oversee the collection of rent, delinquency and the eviction process
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with our residents and vendors
  • Address resident complaints in a timely manner ensuring resolution and continued resident satisfaction
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure the cleanliness of the community, service requests are completed timely and unit turns are completed on schedule
  • Lead and support the team in a manner that is inclusive and supports a great working environment
  • Learn and comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to federal and local Fair Housing Laws
  • Learn and comply with the company's policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required by Vice President of Operations
