About Caring Network:

Role Summary:

The primary focus of this position is to enhance our growing clinic network by ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, functional, and compliant with contractual obligations. This role involves a combination of remote office work and occasional travel to various clinic locations throughout the Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize HVAC maintenance and communicate with landlords regarding completion of tasks.
  • Arrange for regular exterior cleaning of windows and building entrances.
  • Establish contracts for snow removal services for sidewalks and walkways.
  • Oversee waste management contracts for medical and regular waste at clinic locations.
  • Manage daily cleaning services across all clinic sites.
  • Coordinate annual inspections and certifications for fire extinguishers and alarm systems.
  • Facilitate necessary repairs at clinic locations, which may include:
    • Glass and window repairs
    • Door and window maintenance
    • Plumbing issues
    • HVAC repairs
    • Lighting maintenance
    • Filter replacements
    • Dehumidifier servicing
    • Internet connectivity issues
  • Technology support is not included in this role.
  • Assist with insurance claims or reimbursement processes with lessors.
  • Maintain detailed records of tasks and statuses for each site.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Promote the mission of Caring Network and recognize core values in practice.
  • Participate in monthly ministry meetings and other meetings as required by management.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must be a professing Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active participation in a local church.
  • Willingness to uphold the organization's Statements of Faith, Principles, and Core Values.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for the mission and strategic goals of the organization.
  • Comfortable engaging in prayer with colleagues.
  • Experience or interest in property management or building trades.
  • Ability to work flexibly and with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through capabilities.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications including MS Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and internet research.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate well with others in various situations.
  • Willingness to engage in relevant training opportunities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
