What's the role?

The Production Shipping Specialist/Administrative Assistant is responsible for preparing physical payroll checks and reports for delivery to clients. Assisting Director of Payroll Operations with day to day items. This includes:
  • Operating printers, inserters, and related equipment.
  • Preparing payroll checks, ACA reports, W2's, and related reports for delivery to clients.
  • Logging wrapped payrolls to be delivered via courier.
  • Stocking fulfillment room with supplies (envelopes, paper, check stock, rubber bands, etc.)
  • Scheduling equipment maintenance appointments with vendors.
  • Assisting with processing of ingoing and outgoing mail.
  • Task/project management.
  • Assisting other Payroll Solutions administrative tasks as needed.
What experience and skills do I need to be successful?
  • Highest level of confidentiality an absolute must.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions.
  • Must be able work under stringent time deadlines and with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to operate computer terminals, printers, copy machines, telephone systems, and facsimile machines.
  • Experience in a similar role working with check stuffer and sealer, computer workstation, printers, etc. highly desired.

This role supports our office hours of Monday-Friday 8a-5p with a steady 40 hours per week.
