Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Project Engineer to provide additional support for our shop floor control work in Asheville. The primary objectives of this role include assisting the team with hold counts and providing daily support. This position requires an individual who can quickly and efficiently determine status and resolve issues on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform hold counts and data analysis to maintain accurate part status.
* Quickly update part status by physically verifying part information on the shop floor.
* Collaborate with the team to determine priorities and assist in achieving weekly objectives.
* Work closely with the team at the Asheville facility to support daily operations and resolve issues promptly.
Job Requirements:
* This position is onsite at the Asheville facility.
* Associate or bachelor"s degree in engineering preferred, but not required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office for maintaining and updating data sources.
* Ability to inspect and verify parts on the shop floor.
* Aerospace part knowledge preferred, but not required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
