Manufacturing Operations Leader

As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Lab Equipment Division. In this leadership position, you will oversee the development and production of high-quality cold storage products, ensuring compliance with ISO and FDA regulations. Your expertise in manufacturing operations will be instrumental in maintaining project and department budgets, while also providing mentorship and support to team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise operations and lead day-to-day assembly manufacturing activities
- Train and mentor operations team members to meet or exceed departmental standards
- Establish and enhance operational goals and metrics, including STRAP, AOP, and HRR
- Manage process improvements using PPI, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, business, chemistry, engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of meaningful experience in a manufacturing position within a similar field
- One or more advanced business, Six Sigma, supply chain, and project management degrees or certifications
