Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices related to procurement & logistics. Apply this knowledge to develop innovative procurement strategies and stay ahead of market changes. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions, geopolitical issues, and regulatory changes. Develop contingency plans to maintain continuity of supply. Procurement Systems Lead: Organize spend mapping, spend categorisation, risk management processes, cost initiative tracker, supplier relationship management. Develop a data-driven culture and ensure the availability of up-to-date, integrated and consistent procurement data. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement processes and identify areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement & logistics teams and across the organization. Lead initiatives to drive innovation, cost savings, and sustainability in procurement practices. Facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders to create supplier total cost comparisons. Identify true cost and value drivers and deliver year on year measurable cost savings and avoidance in line with local and global expectations. Ethical Sourcing: Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing practices, sustainability goals, and responsible procurement standards. Uphold the company's commitment to social and environmental responsibility. What we seek: Master's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration. Minimum of 10-15-years experience in Procurement management with proven track records of team leadership, negotiation skills and optimization/costs reduction of procurement operations Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management,procurement technology and market trends. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivateand develop a high-performing team. Working experience in a commodity sector a plus. Proficient in MS Office software. Knowledge of Procurement software, data analytics and SAP a plus. Spanish or/and French language a plus. Available to travel part of its time.
