The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels and supplier relationships in a fast-paced setting, and meeting deadlines effectively. Key Responsibilities: Creating and sending purchase orders. Upholding service level and inventory targets. Ensuring on-time deliveries and resolving backorders. Monitoring inventory and suggesting clearance strategies. Managing excessive or obsolete stock. Advising on inventory item discontinuation. Mastering purchasing systems and processes. Resolving supplier issues for sustained quality service. Requirements: Preferably three years of purchasing experience. Strong communication and analytical skills. Ability to multitask and make independent decisions. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
