The operations specialist is responsible for providing bank-wide operational support through their understanding of deposit account servicing requirements and knowledge of electronic banking systems. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor all Shazam debit card and ATM activity.Process account maintenance.Perform daily procedures to manage discrepancies for our Fraud, Red Flag and Identity Theft Programs.Monitor daily activity of all customer demographics, onboarding/changes of accounts, and products.Process wire transfers, debit card disputes, stop pays, and return items.Provide customer support for online account opening.Monitor electronic banking services.Provide a complete range of customer service for bank credit card operations.Assist BSA Officer with CIP reviews.Review, audit, and certify OFAC reports and messages.Review CTRs for accuracy and make changes to the file as needed.Review cash reports for suspicious activity.Monitor MSB accounts for documentation; review and analyze account activity.Assist BBCs affected by BSA and compliance issues and regulatory requirements.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Knowledge and ExperienceKnowledge of existing bank software preferred or demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly. Skills and AbilitiesStrong organizational skills.Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Competent in problem solving and researching information.Ability to work well with a team and independently.Effective communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.This position requires a selected candidate must pass a criminal history background check and have favorable credit history for bonding purposes.
