What you'll do...

About the Position

and Team: The position

will

provide accounting support for Walmart’s

Technology Organization

including

assessment

of

technology purchase contracts

(sof

t

ware, hardware, professional services) to

determine

accounting treatment

,

consultation with business partners for new business initiatives,

monthly close

responsibilities,

and review

of

account reconciliations

. You’ll

make an impact by: Providing accounting

consultation

to Finance Partners and other business partners

on all accounting matters in

according

to

global accounting policies.

Being responsible for

accounting decisions related to month-end and quarter-end financial reviews.

Providing accounting support to the processes that

impacts

segment financial statement flows.

Supporting Financial Reporting with Quarter and Year-End external reporting requirements.

Performing

timely

account reconciliation

reviews

ensuring

appropriate actions

are taken

in accordance with

the Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation policy.

Driving transformation and simplification in alignment with the Global Controllership Pillars.

You’ll

You are experienced in Month-end close.

You have knowledge of how high-level

accounting impacts business decisions.

demonstrated

the ability

to set up/improve accounting processes.

demonstrated

proficiency

working cross-functionally.

excellent ability to

interface

with and influence executives.

You’re

stimulated by challenges and are ready t

o

operate

in Matrix organization with large volume/values of data

.

You are familiar with accounting software including

SAP

, Blackline, etc.
