The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with a strong background in quality engineering. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred. The Senior Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. Oversee quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and validation of high-purity chemicals and other chemical products. Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant certifications. Address and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner. Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality improvement methodologies to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including FDA, EPA, and other relevant standards. Prepare and review documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the company remains compliant. Facilitate training and development programs related to quality standards and practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality-related inquiries and issues. Manage customer audits and quality assessments, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to agreed-upon standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 8-10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with a minimum of 3 years in a quality engineering role. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and handling high-purity chemicals is highly desirable. Proven track record of managing quality systems and driving process improvements. Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements. Expertise in quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and DMAIC. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus. Quality Management System (QMS) certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
