Role Summary
As a Business Development Representative for Vendrix you will be responsible for continuing the sales momentum and making your own mark on the business.

Expectations & Responsibilities
This Business Development Representative will be working alongside an existing Business Development Representative who has seen immediate success as the team continues to grow.
This role requires:
Insatiable desire to develop business. Foundational responsibilities of cold-calling, email cadences, authentic follow up, and demo confirmation ( if you don’t like the thrill and grind of cold outreach then this role is probably not a good fit ).
Booking sales meetings with prospective customers is the #1 priority in addition to keeping clean records of said activity.
This role will be autonomous over time with an opportunity to “make your mark” on the growth of the Sales Team. This person is expected to have a high degree of ownership towards their work and self-accountability.
Onboarding in the first 90 days will primarily be centered around learning basics of the product and specific industry semantics. Including internal processes of draft call scripts, existing mail templates, and proficiency in SalesLoft.
First demo booking is expected in the first 30 days.
Preferred Experience
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into software sales.
Comfortable and eager to grow in cold calling, email prospecting, and the daily grind of sales is required.
Sales experience within a similar industry profile (construction) and/or buyer profile (Accounting, Finance, Ownership) is preferred.
Experience using more advanced technology tools (ex. Salesloft) is preferred.
This person will report directly to one of the founders and have potential to move into a more leadership-focused role or continue as a high-performing individual contributor over time.
