Supervisory Responsibilities: None.Duties/Responsibilities: Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications. Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statisticalquality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and Lean-Six Sigma tools and analyses.Lead and/or participate in quality process improvement projects. Facilitate and lead effective 8D investigations by coordinating cross-functional problem-solvingteams. Train plant staff on quality procedures. Perform routing go-and-see, FPLP approval, and layered process audits. Update work instructions and critical documentation such as PFMEAs, control plans, and EDockets as necessary. Perform material testing and diagnosis/recommendations for purchased products exhibitingeither poor quality or poor performing characteristics. Provide customer requested documentation of claim details. Follow established process for handling customer deductions forwarded by accounts receivable. Serve as neutral party between customer and organization in claim investigation. Other duties, as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated experience in developing and/or updating control plans and FMEA's. Experience with researching and issuing corrective actions. Strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills. Strong customer service skills Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, andfunction specific software. Strong attention to detail & organizational skills. Strong technical aptitude. Some travel may be required ( REV 8/23/2022Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant work experience 2 or more years technical experience needed, automotive a plus.
