Project Executive/ Project Manager Description

Torcon is seeking Project Engineers with 5 to 8 years of experience in the construction industry. The Project Engineer will be responsible for evaluation of submittals and RFI’s to support construction activities and resolution of design/field issues. The Project Engineer must interact with field supervisors, owner representatives, and design professionals. Healthcare experience is highly recommended, as well as the ability to handle multiple project responsibilities and mentor less experienced engineers.

Qualified candidate will live in eastern PA or South Jersey, and able to reliably commute to jobsites in the greater Philadelphia area. Key Responsibilities Responsible for evaluation of submittals and RFI’s

Reviewing and processing change orders

Support construction activities

Resolution of design/field issues

Skills Knowledge and Expertise Knowledge of major software packages (CMIC, Microsoft, BIM 360)

Experience in project control

Experience in shop drawing/submittal administration

Ability to coordinate resolution of field issues with design professionals
