Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineering Assistant to support various activities related to the development of project proposals. This role includes coordinating bid production efforts, assisting Estimators and Project Managers, and maintaining the Bid Board.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process diverse Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from various stakeholders.
  • Analyze and distribute project documentation, complete prequalification statements, organize vendor pricing, and manage contract drawings.
  • Maintain organized proposals within our bid system, ensuring accuracy and currency of information.
  • Collaborate closely with the Estimating Department to ensure timely completion of proposals in line with client deadlines.
  • Support Project Managers in creating submittal logs and managing submittals.
  • Generate RFIs and distribute closeout documents while coordinating with General Contractors and Owners.
  • Exhibit flexibility to engage in additional business initiatives as required.
  • Assist in cost management by efficiently expediting materials, equipment, and parts.
  • Help ensure timely billing of work in accordance with established terms.
  • Monitor customer invoice payments and address any delayed payments appropriately.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction management is preferred.
