What you get to do:

As an Assistant Supervisor for Guest Arrival, you'll help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You'll model and perform the highest standards of service as you foster a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with. Get ready to help us show our best right when guests first show up You will:

  • Provide exemplary Service and ensure Operations Standards are met
  • Supervise Ambassadors for maximum productivity while enforcing and complying with safety procedures, guidelines and park policies and procedures
  • Assist with monitoring the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all Ambassadors complete tasks within a timely manner.
  • Manage daily sub-department labor, daily break rotations, and daily staffing assignments
  • Adhere to the Child Labor Laws regarding breaks and hours worked per day
  • Handle Guest Service matters in a timely manner according to departmental procedures
  • Assist Guest Arrival supervisor with the training and counseling of Ambassadors and team leads while ensuring and compliance with all PCI Compliance and employment standards
  • Complete appropriate paperwork and perform coaching and corrective action..
What it takes to succeed:

  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests' needs
  • Ability to work in a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Ability to assist with pre and post season setup and breakdown on a limited basis. This involves both administrative and outside work
  • Flexibility to perform varied duties
What else is important:
  • At least 16 years of age
  • At least three (3) months of Ambassador experience or equivalent external experience preferred
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Valid drivers license preferred
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
  • Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals
  • Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat
  • Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement
  • Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
  • Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines
