The RN Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Director of Nursing in delivering effective and efficient nursing care while ensuring positive clinical outcomes, as well as patient, family, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
* Oversee, guide, and manage the clinical operations of the nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to Genesis policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
* Facilitate the execution of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, and coordinating communication with other departments.
* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing staff is available to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care, with a focus on minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS: * Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. * Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing. * Minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred. * At least two years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred. * One year in a management, administrative, or supervisory role is preferred.
