Main Duties Include:

  • Research, analyze, and resolve Accounts Payable billing, payments, inquiries, and escalations timely and thoroughly.
  • Complete daily processing of invoices to the correct accounts to ensure accurate and timely expense recognition and accounts payable aging. Aegeus Group utilizes Netsuite ERP with Squareworks AP automation for its invoice processing capabilities.
  • Ownership and daily monitoring of the AP inquiries email to provide timely responses to vendor and internal inquiries, including urgent issues, payment status, and aging statements.
  • Support the weekly payment process, including submitting weekly aging reports and open bills, submitting payments for approval, and creating checks as needed.
  • Managing certain vendor portal logins and regularly capturing and processing recurring invoices in a timely manner.
  • Assist with processing 1099 payments and annual tax filings.
  • Participate in the monthly close process to ensure proper accounting treatment of Accounts Payable.
  • Support the Accounting Function in special projects and tasks as necessary.
