Job Description
Purpose
The Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. Should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, job boards and employee referrals.
Functions
Partner closely with business leaders, developing tailored sourcing strategies to deliver a diversely represented pipeline of active talent.
Influence and champion hiring best practices throughout candidate assessments while championing candidate experience.
Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings.
Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
Perform reference checks as needed.
Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiate employment terms.
Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
Acts as a Mentor for other members of the recruiting team.
Achieves monthly hiring goals.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, or a related field, plus three to five years' experience as Recruiter required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
REQUIRED
5-10 years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems
Strong knowledge utilizing job boards, social media, and college sites for recruitment
Pre-screening skills
Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
Work surface is stable (flat)
