Career Opportunity Disaronno International is searching for a Full-Time Business Controlling Manager. The Business Controlling Manager will be responsible for supporting the Commercial and Marketing side of our US business. The ideal candidate will live in the Baltimore Maryland area and have an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong Business Acumen, and the scale of ambition to grow Disaronno International’s wine & spirits business.

Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and manage pricing structures, including customer specific pricing. Manage the tracking and calculation of any pricing discrepancies for resolution. Identify the necessary metrics and create new reports to increase understanding of the business, proactively identifying budget risk exposure through systematic measurement for our Commercial and National Account teams. Review reports, analyze weekly sales and identify trends to provide insight for opportunities across the portfolio. Support RFP preparation efforts for any large chain, or government agreements. Improve systems/processes, study current practices and create modifications to current reporting system. Assist in Joint Business Planning (QBR’s) data files to help support performance analysis and establish standard reporting for planning meetings. Review IRI selling data to help identify trends and selling stories that can further the growth of the portfolio. Support the gathering of mid-month and end of month reporting. Work closely with the sales team to support CRM tool. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements Proven experience in pricing strategy development and implementation in the wholesale industry. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex and data and draw actionable insights. Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using pricing tools and software with expertise in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams. Detail oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Knowledge of the alcohol wholesale industry and understanding of market dynamics and pricing trends. The ability to work within a variety of team situations, as well as working independently. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

Education & Experience BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics 3+ years’ experience in a pricing role Demonstrated ability to work independently to drive programs through to completion. Nice to have: knowledge of VIP, Oracle Hyperion/BI/JD Edwards
