EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work in our Outsourced IT Services Group. In this role you will coordinate software, hardware and network configuration changes with departmental personnel, clients, vendors and service providers which meets the strategic business need of the client and the firm. You will utilizes firm standards, technological expertise and customer requirements to establish effective and efficient solutions to meet the needs of clients and support the Firm's strategies and initiatives.
What Work You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Designs, implements and supports Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments.
  • Design, implementation and support for multi-vendor platforms including routing, switching, security and wireless technologies such as Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) to meet customer requirements.
  • Demonstrates strategic business needs and the fit of technical architecture, existing communication services and service level requirements for network management.
  • Coordinates with Account Executives and vendors on a regular basis for Pre and Post Sales design, high-level requirements formulation and project planning.
  • Builds, upgrades, maintains, troubleshoots and administers computer systems in a multi-platform environment.
  • Works frequently with client organizations on various projects to provide end-user training, knowledge transfer and acceptance.
  • Provides team-oriented knowledge transfer, technical architecture deep-dives, methodology guidelines considerations and side-by-side support with junior level engineers
  • Keeps team members and supervisor informed of progress to ensure collaboration with external agencies, if required, and other stakeholders as needed to enable successful development and implementation of complex project workflow and processes.
  • Prepares deliverables/reports for review by the supervisor that include any noted issues, trends and other micro/macro level risks identified through the execution of projects activities.
  • Collaborates with supervisor, team and internal stakeholders on new technologies, internal projects, and development & integration tasks involving server & cloud software tools (Intacct, Microsoft Azure, JIRA, Confluence, etc.), or other relevant technology information.
  • Ensures all work produced meets the guidelines and standards defined for the team, and the customer requirements before being released for User Acceptance approval.
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related major is require
  • Four years of relevant experience may substitute education requirement.
  • Industry or manufacturer certifications may be required.
  • 5 years' experience designing, implementing and supporting cloud based, corporate and enterprise networks.
  • Advanced experience with virtualization, networking, security and Active Directory
  • Advanced experience with Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 products throughout the enterprise.

  • Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Software Development Suite of products, Microsoft Office Suite of products, and other relevant applications.

Other Duties:

  • Provides courteous and prompt service to all internal and external parties. Prioritizes and addresses requests and assignments in a professional and cooperative manner.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, and work processes. Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • May assist co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service and demonstrating team work skills. Actively supports teamwork throughout the organization.
  • Perform other services as assigned.

Other Considerations:

  • May periodically travel and work from different company locations.
  • May be required to work overtime, and/or on weekends as needed.
  • Must arrive at EisnerAmper offices or client locations in a timely manner and be ready to perform job responsibilities.
