MAHEC is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Program Assistant/Customer Service position. This position will provide administrative support for continuing education events including maintaining accurate program and event information in a database (no database experience required) and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. The position works collaboratively with Continuing Professional Development staff and the Marketing department. Come join our awesome team

As a member of the Customer Service/Registration Team, the position will provide support in the areas of centralized online registration/payments and data management for all aspects of continuing education programs in a statewide database, proofing of marketing materials, mail list creation, and a host of other administrative duties. The individual serves as the first point of contact for all customers at the main information desk of our Education Building approximately 12 hours per week (out of 40-hour work week, this is a full-time position). Attention to detail is needed to be successful in this role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED and at least three (3) years administrative experience or equivalent required. Associate's degree in business, office administration, or other relevant studies preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Database experience not required.

SCHEDULE:

Regular attendance on-site is an essential function of this position. Typical business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (or flexed to best meet the needs of the clients and/or the Division); 40 hours per workweek; weekend, holiday, or evening coverage is occasionally required. Work hours will need to be flexible in order to respond to special work assignments, or evening activities, as requested by the team leader.

POSITION COMPENSATION:

$18.56/hour, eligible for MAHEC's full Total Rewards package
