This individual should have an interest in International Business and Supply Chain with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills while being able to effectively communicate with individuals both within and outside of the organization and across diverse backgrounds. Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 30% in office expectations In this role you will: Monitor receipt of customer purchase orders and prepare for shipment Ensure accurate and timely processing of export documents presented to the customer, freight forwarders, and customs brokers Handle coordination and technical details relating to international movement of goods, such as customs regulations, laws and Company policies, and any necessary documentation. Support integration with other JMS systems. Engage IS partners where necessary Communicate with production sites, planners, freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers to coordinate the movement of freight from domestic origin point to overseas destination point with all modes of transportation and carriers (Ocean, Airfreight, LTL, Truckload, and Parcel). Prepare and process invoices, while supporting the investigation and resolution of overdue payments, deductions, and price discrepancies. Review daily monitoring reports to ensure that sales and on-time delivery goals are met. Manage internal communication to address unacceptable goods/services and coordinate with the Corporate Quality team to determine root cause and provide appropriate response Assist in integrating new customers and markets into existing order-to-cash process Work with Global Trade Compliance team to support internal/external audit requests relating to documentation for adherence to export regulations, administer certificates as required by special trade programs, and successfully execute on partnership with contracted ocean carriers.
