Patient Services Specialist for Gastroenterology

We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to join our Gastroenterology South Clinic located in Newberg. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care. Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for a candidate that is a self-starter, with a positive attitude, who can work independently, and has a customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of medical front office experience, is team-oriented and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.Primary duties include patient appointment scheduling. This position is heavily phone-based and will primarily consist of scheduling and rescheduling appointments. Several months of onsite training at the Newberg clinic is required prior to consideration for remote work. Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year of previous medical front office experience is preferred. Prior experience with EMR preferred.
