We're seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for our Gastroenterology South Clinic in Newberg. You'll work with exceptional physicians who value teamwork and patient care. Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls. We need a self-starter with a positive attitude, who can work independently and has a customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of medical front office experience, is team-oriented, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Primary duties include patient appointment scheduling. This position is heavily phone-based and will primarily consist of scheduling and rescheduling appointments. Several months of onsite training at the Newberg clinic are required prior to consideration for remote work. Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hiring pay is based on open position, experience, and credentials: Level I - $18.33-$24.81 per hour, Level II - $27.29 per hour, and Level III - $30.01 per hour. Placement within levels is based on specialty group, experience, and additional duties. Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees. Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) year of previous medical front office experience is preferred. Prior experience with EMR is preferred, and EPIC experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills, excellent attendance and work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to be a team player are required. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers is essential.
