Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, staff, and property.

• Enforce Providence Health & Services policies and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, providing assistance and support as needed.
• Monitor and patrol hospital premises to prevent accidents, theft, and vandalism.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Oregon Private Security Armed/Unarmed Professional - Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training upon hire.
• Valid Driver's License upon hire.
• Private Security Temporary Work Permit PS-20 upon hire.
• 1 year - Experience using personal computer with standard Microsoft applications.

• Coursework/Training - College level coursework in professionally related fields such as criminal justice, social work, psychology or any social science.
• 1 year - Security/law enforcement experience such as corrections, police, reserve and military police.
• Direct patient care experience in a healthcare industry.
