About Flying Lady Winery Flying Lady Winery is a privately owned small-batch winery perched atop the Spring Mountain AVA in St Helena, CA. The winery is owned by father and son founders David & Zach Nassar and owner Ted Bryce. We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our newly constructed Tasting Room and oversee our Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) operations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, possess a passion for wine and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities include managing daily tasting room activities, coordinating private events, and developing strategies to enhance the visitor experience and grow our wine club. The role requires an analytical approach to sales and inventory management, and a commitment to upholding the brand's reputation. A background in hospitality, along with knowledge of the wine industry, is preferred. This position offers the opportunity to work in one of the world's premier wine destinations and to contribute significantly to our company's success by driving DTC sales growth. Responsibilities: Oversee and participate in daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring exceptional service standards are met. Greet visitors to the tasting room and pour wines for seated tasting experiences. Develop and implement strategies to drive DTC sales, including wine club memberships and online sales. Maintain a deep understanding of the winery's products and effectively communicate the brand story to visitors. Execute outreach/networking strategy to drive traffic (on-site & digital platforms), increase visitation and form strategic partnerships to increase DTC revenues. Maintain website: Updating content with the owners; Monitor traffic; Maintain a fresh digital presence. Create and curate Social Media content with the owners. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding alcohol sales and service. P&L, daily/monthly closing summaries, restocking, database entry, maintaining inventory numbers. Process and record sales orders and customer information into database. Be the point person for tracking wine shipments. Skills & Requirements Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience within the wine industry. Luxury brand experience desired. Fluent in English. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse client groups. Strong computer proficiency. Must be able to lift 50lbs (case of wine). #J-18808-Ljbffr
