About the Team:

The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We're a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company's regulatory obligations and risks.
What You'll Be Doing

This role will lead the development of the Compliance Training Program and team, partner closely with Compliance Leaders, Legal, and other compliance subject matter experts to enhance and build crypto-related training materials to ensure regulatory requirements (ie. AML, Sanctions, KYC, privacy, etc.) are incorporated into various Compliance training.

In this role, you will:
  • Own, design/refine, and manage the Compliance Training Program, including but not limited to strategy, roadmap and controls to address regulatory and local requirements
  • Develop comprehensive compliance crypto-related training needs across all necessary jurisdictions
  • Lead, guide, support, train, and mentor a team responsible for Compliance training
  • Work with necessary teams to coordinate firm-wide compliance training efforts
  • Partner and communicate compliance training framework to all relevant stakeholders to ensure the program is implemented and consistently followed
  • Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
What We Look For In You
  • 7+ years of experience in Compliance within cryptocurrency, FinTech, or financial services industries
  • 3+ years of management experience for a team lead role
  • Experienced in developing, setting up, rolling out, and managing a compliance training program
  • Knowledge and understanding of cryptocurrency and financial services regulation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interact and lead discussions with senior levels of management and/or external partners and/or regulators
  • Partner closely with compliance team members across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Stay abreast of relevant AML, Sanctions, etc. regulatory requirements to apply new and changes accordingly
  • Manage to ensure training materials and programs are effective in applying valuable information and education
  • Understands the importance and value to exemplify the culture of compliance directly within the team and across the enterprise
  • Organization skills to ensure evidence of documentation is retained, maintained, and reported timely
  • Proven leadership and project management skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver successful end-to-end training
  • Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements and to lead projects with cross-departmental complexity
  • Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently (with minimal guidance) and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks
  • Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • CAMS or equivalent certification
  • Prior experience working in a global environment and/or FinTech and/or crypto exchange

Okcoin Statement:

The salary range for this position is $152,000 to $229,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
