Ultra Maritime has an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join the HR Team Braintree, MA.
We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator who can support change in a fast-paced environment. The role will handle a variety of HR related tasks daily, while being able to multitask and prioritize effectively. We are looking for someone who is a natural and engaging communicator, comfortable building strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

The HR Coordinator will:

  • Provide first line support on all HR transactional issues and HR administrative support to HR Team and work closely with Business teams
  • Accurate administration of key people processes, including on-boarding, contract changes, family / special leave, flexible working, leavers and employee benefits
  • Follow all agreed procedures accurately to ensure all responsibilities are carried out consistently, to a high quality within the agreed timescales
  • Accurate and timely maintenance of data on myHR across Core HR, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Reporting and Absence
  • Understand the relevant HR policies and procedures and to assist employees and Line Managers in the correct interpretation and implementation of polices
  • Provide general "customer-service-like" support in relation to HR questions
  • Ensure the maintenance of electronic and physical employee files / records and myHR records, making sure these meet company, legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Update the Payroll team regarding notification of new starters, leavers and variations to contract, in accordance with monthly payroll deadlines
  • Maintain knowledge of systems to enable quick and accurate response to employee /user needs
  • Make recommendations for improving the processes to increase business effectiveness
  • Other HR Admin related support to the assigned OBU for other activities as required, which may include Health & Safety, ERP support among others
  • Demonstrate and adhere to the Ultra ASPIRE values at all times.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of previous HR administration experience
  • 2+ year of experience in Benefits; including open enrollment
  • 2+ year of HRIS experience (ADP and WorkDay a plus) - must have a strong comfort level with technology and reporting

This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Ideally will have worked within a fast paced, results driven shared service environment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with excellent time management skills
  • HR documentation creation and maintenance (standard operating procedures, forms etc.)
  • Training record administration and audit
  • Working with confidential information
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and handle variable workloads
