We are looking for a Floater Member Service Associate. Being a Member Service Associate starts by building relationships that are founded on people, cooperation, service and trust - and it is fundamental in how we distinguish ourselves in the financial services industry. As the face of the organization, you serve a critical role by providing exceptional service to all credit union and community members, volunteers, employees, and service providers.

As a Floater Member Service Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks:

    • Provide exceptional member service to all Members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers.
    • Explain products and services to Members to meet their needs. Cross-sells RCU, RCU Investment Services, RCU Insurance Services and RCU Auto Services products and services.
    • Establish basic products and services for Members.
    • Provide information to Members' questions or directs them to the appropriate person or department for assistance.
    • Safeguard Member information and ensure confidentiality by following established policy and procedures.
    • Complete Members' transactions accurately and efficiently using established policies and procedures.
    • Balance cash, checks, and maintain proper documentation.


The ideal candidate:

Has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.

6+ months experience in a retail sales / cash handling environment.

Strong multitasker and collaborator who prefers to work in a team environment.

An unparalleled drive to do the right thing and provide great service

Ability to travel to Sonoma County Branches and to other areas as needed.

Compensation: base starting range $22.00 to $27.00 per hour commensurate with experience. This position also qualifies for a 5% Floater Differential. This position qualifies for the Marin Differential which is additional 15%.

Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity. - 0% interest loan to support employees with various immigration related expenses such as visa application fees and relocation costs. Loan amount up to $1,000.

- 0% interest loan to support employees with expenses associated with the naturalization process. Loan amount up to $15,000.

- 0% interest on garment, fitness, or home office equipment loan of up to $500

- 100% financing for employee purchased homes
