Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Donation Processing: Sort and process donations in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all items are properly logged and stored.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking and reporting on donations, sales, and inventory levels.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals, and provide support and assistance as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge, and contribute to process improvements and innovations.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail or donation centers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with donors, colleagues, and management.
- Math and Accounting Skills: Basic math and accounting skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and maintain inventory levels.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and supportive attitude.
Goodwill of San Francisco Bay is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their full potential through education, job training, and employment services. We operate 34 retail stores, 33 donation sites, and two warehouse outlets across six Bay Area counties, and rely on a combination of material and financial donations to support our employment services.
