Your Role As a HealthStreamer Position Summary HealthStream is seeking an eCommerce Marketing Manager to join our Digital & eCommerce Marketing team supporting HealthStream’s Business-to-Professional channels with the goal of generating online sales for HealthStream direct purchase products. In this role, the eCommerce Marketing Manager will implement marketing plans to achieve sales and conversion goals. Build and execute media, marketing and email campaigns, ensuring the content is clear and error-free, and optimize creative and messaging for the best experience across devices and systems. Manage subscriber and acquisition databases, analyze campaign metrics, and provide insights for improving campaign and conversion effectiveness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Build and implement eCommerce marketing campaigns that drive purchase, customer engagement, and brand loyalty. Manage daily operations of the eCommerce email marketing channel, including the execution email campaigns, automated flows, transactional emails, and all lifecycle messaging. Identify target audiences and manage lists in Klaviyo and Pardot, ensuring the list data is clean and contains available field values. Work closely with the paid ad team to optimize creative and create cohesiveness of all marketing strategies. Program, configure, test, deploy, monitor, track, and report on marketing impact on online purchases. Execute with quality (QA checklist, proofreading, testing, approvals), maintain master marketing calendar (scheduling, cadence), and monitor execution (traffic, conversion, deliverability). Upgrade marketing and email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features. Conduct A/B testing on marketing programs to maximize conversion and revenue opportunity. Monitor performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates. Manage, organize, and prioritize multiple projects at different stages of completion and due dates. Remain compliant with regulations, including: CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc. Stay up-to-date with the latest B2C practices and tactics and recommend strategies. Other duties as assigned. What You Will Need to be Successful Education, Experience and Knowledge Required Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Communications or related field a minimum requirement. At least 2 years eCommerce marketing experience with Shopify, Magento. Commerce Cloud or other commerce systems. At least 3 years digital marketing experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze or similar tools. Salesforce product suite a plus. Experience analyzing campaigns, data, and reports. Previous experience working in a complex organization. Skills and Abilities Required HTML knowledge/proficiency. Experience with developing customer segmentation strategies. Interpersonal skills - exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, coaching, and presentation skills, and high attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high quality, attention to detail, and exceptional teamwork and internal communication skills. Experience working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. Understand direct-to-consumer eCommerce, media, retention marketing trends, and Email/CRM technologies and compliance with regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc. Understand email best practices to be able to give feedback to copywriters, recommend subject line tests and optimizations, etc. Understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics and content management systems and processes. Strong analytical, research-oriented, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to understand, interpret, and present relevant data. Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high quality, attention to detail, and exceptional teamwork and internal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder, evolving organization with a large degree of ambiguity and tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability to interface cross-functionally with other teams. Agile mindset, with the ability to pivot calendars, strategies and plans to ensure relevance and resonance. Emphasis is on results-based marketing, therefore excellent track record is essential.
