How Youll Make an Impact

The Strategic Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing pricing strategies for the companys products or services across multiple areas of the business. The role involves analyzing market trends and cost trends to make pricing recommendations to the business and manage a team of analysts to implement changes. This role will also involve doing competitive research to understand product positioning and recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share.

In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Develop pricing strategies across multiple areas of the business, Includes owning market related price changes and providing guidance to analyst to execute changes.
  • Develop pricing strategies for market based pricing by conducting/analyzing market research and competitive analysis. Understand market trends, demand and competitive positioning to develop strategy.
  • Report key KPIs monthly to sales leadership for business unit performance, report global pricing KPIs to global analyst. Adjust pricing strategies based on KPI performance to meet financial goals.
  • Utilize pricing software and tools to analyze pricing data and make decisions for adjustments for price optimization.
  • Develop sales incentives, discounts and promotional programs across business and ensure compliance by sales leaders.

What Youll Need

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management or related field.

  • 10+ years of pricing, marketing, and/or finance experience, preferably in a distributed services organization.

  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to analyze and interpret data and tell a story from data

  • Strong financial acumen, attention to detail

  • High proficiency in data management tools, Excel, SQL, SAP and pricing software

  • Effective oral and written communication skills with an ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons.

  • Strategic thinking, ability to create strategies based on data analysis and lead a team to implement

  • Initiative; originate productive actions without specific instructions; generate new ideas, processes and approaches to meet business needs.

  • Ability to be a change agent in instituting best practices to drive operational performance and effectiveness across the group.

  • Strong Problem-solving abilities aptitude for identifying issues and developing practical solutions

  • Functional knowledge of financial reporting systems and methodologies for reporting using business intelligence tools are a plus.

  • Ability to formally present business strategies and action plans. Demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
