Reporting To: Director of Network Systems

Description

Provide frontline technical support to end-users by promptly addressing helpdesk requests, resolving basic IT issues, and ensuring a seamless IT experience. Escalate complex problems as needed, contributing to the overall functionality and productivity of the organization's IT systems.
  • Respond to incoming helpdesk requests via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist end-users with technical issues related to hardware, software, network, and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT problems, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Provide guidance and training to end-users on IT-related topics.
  • Document support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to the knowledge base.
Job Qualifications

A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position.
  • Associate's degree in computer science; additional technical certifications or coursework is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently or collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or technical support role is desirable but not mandatory.
